How do I care for my UcanB items? For cold wash and Dry Clean only
We test all our fabrics to ensure that our customers are well informed of how to take care of their product. That said, please follow the care instructions of each garment. When in doubt, hand wash always wins.
Our three rules to go by:
- Hand wash — For delicate items stick to spot cleaning only. Otherwise, hand wash cold with a mild detergent to maintain the colour and feel. Leave to soak for a few minutes, then treat with a fabric conditioner in the final rinse to keep its feel. Rinse well in cold water and avoid wringing, keep to line drying your garment inside-out, away from the sunlight.
- Dry Clean — Rely on external vendors to do the job for you. Dry cleaning is the safest option if gotten done from reliable outlets.
- Steaming and ironing —For everything, turn your garment inside out and iron it on the lowest setting. Prefer using steam irons. Spray some water to help straighten out the wrinkles. For everything else, turn your garment inside out and iron it on a medium heat setting. Avoid Ironing Jackets.
